Antoine Christophe Agbepa Mumba, born on 13 July 1956, is popularly known by the stage name Koffi Olomidé. He began his music career in the late 1970s and rose to wider recognition in the 1980s; his 1985 album Diva helped define his early “tcha tcho” / soukous-love style. Among his many hits, tracks such as “Effrakata” and “Loi” are frequently cited as major popular highlights of his catalogue.

A Congolese artist, singer and songwriter, Koffi Olomidé has continued to impress fans with his distinctive rumba/ndombolo style and long career. His double album titled Monde Arabe. The album blends rumba and ndombolo and follows Koffi’s signature themes of love and social commentary.
