Mbosso (born Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi on October 3, 1995) is a celebrated Tanzanian singer, songwriter, guitarist, and former member of the iconic Yamoto Band. After the group disbanded in 2015, he relaunched his solo career by signing with WCB Wasafi in 2018, releasing emotive hits like Hodari, Nadekezwa, Tamu, and Tamba, and earning acclaim for his percussive guitar style and heartfelt lyrics .
In his new single titled Pawa II, Mbosso collaborates with Kenyan artists Bien-Aimé Baraza (Sauti Sol) and Khaligraph Jones. Bien brings soulful vocals while Khaligraph adds a powerful rap verse, creating a cross-border sound of Afro-pop, Bongo Flava, and Hip-Hop.
