MGODI

MGODI is a financial service offering Vodacom customers access to Savings plus mid-long Term Loans of up to 30 days. All Vodacom M-Pesa customers who have stayed on the network for more than 6 months can get access to Savings (both short term & fixed savings) as well as Loans.

You will receive a notification that a customer has successfully registered to the service

M-Pawa

This is the service whereby Vodacom aim to empower the unbanked population in Tanzania to save and borrow money via M-Pesa service.

How can a customer access this service?

Dial *150*00# and select M-Pawa or Go to M-Pesa App>Services>M-Pawa. You must be an M-Pesa registered customer. M-Pawa registration is free and it uses M-Pesa PIN.

Songesha

It is a financial service that allows you to complete transactions when you have low balance in your M-Pesa account by getting an increase in money and later returning the amount you were given.

How to access the Songesha service

Dial *150*00# Select Financial Services then select Transfer. Register and continue to get information and other options through the Scroll menu after registration.

Nipige Tafu

This service enables Vodacom customers to borrow airtime or bundles whenever in need and repay with interest. Customer can access the service through Vodacom Menu*149*01# then Nipige Tafu or direct code *149*01*99#.

CHOMOKA

CHOMOKA is a short-mid-term Fuel Loan offered by Vodacom to M-Pesa customer with due repayment of up to 14 days. All Vodacom M-Pesa customers who are drivers qualifies for the service.
